Fox Makes Friends

Fox got this costume for Halloween. He is a kangaroo! We are still shopping around, so if we find something cuter than this, we may return this one. But I doubt there is going to be anything cuter than this!!

Fox enjoys chewing on things.


After chewing, he likes to brush his teeth.


And then he chews on more stuff. For example, a football.


While he isn't chewing, Fox has been keeping busy. Today he went to the Community of Peace Academy soccer game, where he played with his friend, Eldon. Eldon is four hours younger than Fox. It's like looking in a mirror!

He also spent time with auntie Becky and auntie Kristin (he was making eyes at Kristing in this pic).


Fox also bathes. Now that is he getting bigger, playing in the tub is more fun each day.

Here Fox and his dad try to ride a tortoise. The tortoise isn't really going anywhere, though. We've always heard that tortoises were slow, but this is slightly ridiculous.

Minnesota winders are for the hardy: here Fox demonstrates his plans for weathering the harsh bitter cold.

New Accomplishments

Good news: our camera is working again! Here is Fox, happy to pose once again. He is sporting his cute new onsie from Karissa and Rob:

Fox has been getting up on his hands and knees all the time now. It is adorable. See for yourself:


With all the hands and knees practice, he is not forgetting to practice sitting up. Here he is, playing with his sesame street toy:


Here is Fox at his first day of daycare. We had to wake him up to go, so he was pretty tired. His smile is not as energetic because of that. But the daycare people love him and rave about how cute and good he is. No surprise!

Fox's New Best Friend

Fox has a new best friend. His name is Stripey, and he is a stuffed tiger:


This is the item we have chosen to be Fox's comfort object. He sleeps with Stripey, plays with Stripey, and generally loves Stripey:

In other news, Fox is learning to move around a lot more now. He can get up on his hands and knees and do the butt-bounce thing. It's very cute. But it is very difficult to capture on film. However, we were able to capture on film the new face he has leared: mad face. His cousins Andy, Carl, and Joshy helped:

All in all, things are going well. Fox starts day care on Tuesday (blah). We are enjoying the last couple days before school starts. We are having trouble with our camera right now, so I can't currently take any pictures. This is something I will work on fixing asap, but in the meantime, I might not be able to post anything for a bit.

Fox in River Falls

Yesterday, we took a trip to River Falls with Rob and Karissa. Fox did all sorts of fun things. Here he is in the new sweet student center:

Today, Fox turned 7 months old. He grew two front bottom teeth (the first one popped through Friday). Photographing the teeth proved difficult, but here are some of his 7 month pics:

Two Weeks Of Learning
