Fox has a new place to play, and he's happy about it.He also has some new friends.
He's full of smiles and secrets.

Fox has been teething, so his mood has been a bit sour; he seems to be happy again now though.

His favorite book is Dr. Seuss's Hop on Pop (as Homer Simpson says, "It was so tragic the way they hopped on Pop").

Oh what a difference 14 weeks make! Here is Fox at 3 weeks--skinny and hairy, and at 17 weeks, chubby (or more so at least) and nearly bald. I had heard about babies losing their hair, but I just never thought it would happen to Fox.




I like to call this Fox's "Who the heck are you and what the heck are you doing?" expression.

Fox is enjoying Tummy Time a little more now, but he is still being stubborn about rolling over.

Fox really likes to be outside. Here is a picture of him and Daddy on Saturday when they kept Mommy company in the garden. He had lots of fun staring up at the tree.

Here is a picture of Fox, being his mom's prom date. He didn't actually make it to the dance, though. Maybe when he's older.



Here is Fox, looking like a real person. He is getting more and more expressive every day. He can lift up one eyebrow, too. Just like a tiny human.

Last weekend, Fox rolled over twice. He doesn't seem to be in a hurry to do it again. He was getting a lesson on the current rolling methods when we stopped for this picture.


And after the vigorous workout, he was all tuckered out. He is a very good sleeper; I don't know if I have mentioned this yet. He sleeps from around 7:30 pm-5:45 am. He seldom wakes in between. I feel like this is note-worthy. He has been doing this since early April, when he was just over 2 months old.

He's been sleeping through the night for a while now (from like 7:30-5:30 or so). It has been pretty great. Here is a picture of Fox all conked out. You can see why he goes 10 hours at a stretch! So comfy...


At Grama and Grampa Fischer's this past weekend, Fox tried hard to get his thumb in his mouth:


And he was finally successful!

This is one of my new favorite pictures. It is Fox bouncing on Grama's lap, laughing like a maniac. And this picture was taken by Jackson! He's pretty good at photography, especially when compared to other preschoolers.

Fox is desperately trying to learn how to suck his thumb. It's not going all that well so far.


We went for a walk, with Fox in his Snugli. He is big enough to face forward in it now--3 whole months!

We took a trip to the zoo this weekend. Fox slept through it all until we woke him up to take pictures of him with the gorilla statue. Everyone was watching us pose him, and they were all oohing and aahing. One couple even asked if they could take a picture of Fox with the statue to take home because he was so cute! This is not helping my mommy-ego, which is already way out of control. But he is just so cute!
